No One Promised That Life Would Be Fair
No one promised life would be fair. Most of us have felt that truth at some point in our lives. I’m not here to sit in trauma or glorify pain. I’m here to talk about growth. I believe Earth is like a giant classroom. We come here to learn, stretch, and grow. If everything were perfectly fair all the time, we wouldn’t change. We’d stay comfortable, and comfortable doesn’t build strength.
There are lessons in how we handle injustice. Some people have faced cruelty that is hard to even imagine, but their stories of perseverance inspire us more than any easy success story ever could. I’ve been denied apartments as a single parent. Had banks side with scammers. I’ve been caught in a Ponzi scheme. I’ve seen gaps in women’s healthcare. Believe me, I felt like was treated very unfairly, but I did what people have always done over the years and decades. I adapted, kept going, and I found another way to find justice. And yes, it made me stronger.
Today we have laws that protect people better than before, and that didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people spoke up or because someone refused to stay quiet. Every time a person stands up and tells the truth, it moves the world a little forward. That’s the lesson hidden inside unfair moments. That’s exactly how I helped get the banks to change their policies regarding information that is now sent out in emails of the latest scams; And yes, I got that money back, and them some, by thinking outside of the box.
What to Do with Anger When Life Isn’t Fair
Every one of us has faced something that felt wrong—at school, at work, in family life, or in business. We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can control what happens next. That’s true empowerment. You don’t have to scream, and you don’t have to hide. You can learn the facts, speak clearly, and stand tall. Systems often count on people giving up. That’s an uncomfortable truth. But calm persistence changes outcomes more often than anger ever will. Although sometimes anger is the drive and motivation for real change. When we are solution seeking, it takes us from victimhood to having control.
Holding anger or hurt forever will eat you from the inside out. Stress hormones stay high, sleep gets worse, and your body carries the weight. Running from pain keeps you stuck, but facing it helps you heal. The real power move is honest conversation. Listen first. Try to understand. Then speak your truth with clarity. Emotional intelligence—being able to feel and think at the same time—is what turns pain into wisdom and wisdom into progress.
Hard things happen, and some of them are deeply unfair. That truth does not decide your future. Your brain has something called neuroplasticity, which means it can rewire itself. New thoughts create new neural pathways. Small positive actions repeated daily change how you think and how you respond. Your brain is literally reshaping itself with every choice you make.
You Have Choices: Stay Stuck Or Learn

When you are faced with unfairness, you have two choices. You can stay stuck in anger, or you can use that fire to grow. Growth builds confidence. It builds wisdom. It builds a better world for the people coming after you. You don’t have to fix everything. You just have to take your next right step, speak truth, help someone when you can, and keep going.
Life isn’t fair. We see this everday in the news. Our government is showing us that those with big money and power get away with horrorific behavior, from the coverup of the Epstein files to the Federal agents working with ICE killing innocent people that are exercising their constitutional rights. Most of people feel a sense of outrage when this is happening before our very eyes.
But we are seeing people come together and stand up for human decencies, because our mindset is powerful. Our actions matter. Our voices counts. Build your life with purpose, and help someone else do the same. That’s real empowerment.
Life Was Never Meant to Be Fair
Life was never meant to be fair. And if this is Earth School, ask yourself what you came here to learn? If you encarnated here as a minority or even a woman, chances are you came to learn some strong lessons. Your resilience is stronger than you know. Your story is the one that might be everlasting and encouraging to others. Don’t let your struggles with unfairness be for nothing. As hard as it is to accept bad things happen to good people, I truly believe there is a reason for it. (Not very helpful to point that out right after a tragedy. Maybe keep that to yourself.)

There’s something strange and hopeful in all of this. The universe doesn’t hand out fairness, but it does hand out opportunities to grow. Like a gym for the soul, resistance is what builds strength. Not fun while you’re lifting—but strength shows up later, in ways you never expected. That’s real power and strength.
Helen Keller’s quotes is perfect for this topic. I read her biography in the 5th or 6th grade. I read the whole thing which was quite a task for a dyslexic. But I powered through it because her story is extraordinary. Someone born into this world without sight or sound and still manages to inpsire many for generations speaks volumes. She is a prime example of building a powerful life. You can check our her Wikipedia here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helen_Keller
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

Gratitude
I hope this blog helps you in some way. We are going through a crisis in our country and it can be challenging to stay positive with all the negativity surrounding us. It is vital for us to shift our perspective to empowerment rather than a helpless one.
Love is still the most powerful emotion we feel and carry. All good things come from that energy. Fear can be debilitating and not one of my decisions made from fear ever had a good outcome. You can read in all about in my memoir, Manifesting Me: A Story of Rebellion and Redmeption. https://wellnessgardentoolshed.com/product/manifesting-me/
I thank you for taking the time to read this blog. Please share in the comments how you’ve turned something that was unfair into positivity. We’d all love to hear it. Take care. ~ Leah Reinhart
