AI Has Created Mass Hysteria
Has AI got you into a panic? It’s definitely the hot topic these days — you can’t log onto LinkedIn without seeing at least five posts about it. But here’s the good news: AI can’t do everything. It can optimize your website, edit your posts, write code, and do all sorts of useful things — but it can’t give you real human connection. AI only regurgitates what already exists. It doesn’t create originality. So if you know how to create, or you work in the trades, you have the advantage.
As a hairstylist and manifesting mentor, AI didn’t give me my belief system, and it definitely didn’t teach me how to cut hair. 37 years of cutting hair taught me that people don’t come back for the technique — they come back for how you make them feel in the chair. At one of my many salons that I’ve worked in, I saw many talented hairstylist. Ones that could cut hair and do circles around most, but they weren’t busy or making fists full of money. The reason is they didn’t talk with their clients. Your personality matters. So don’t get too caught up in the hysteria.
My Belief Regarding AI
I truly believe AI is going to create a bigger need for personal contact. We’re a species that relies on community. Sure, there are outliers, but generally, we’re wired to connect. My son is a musician, and yes — there’s AI that can write your songs now. But AI can only repeat what’s already out there.
Which leads me to think people are going to want to see that the creator of the music can actually play it, in person. We’ve already seen backlash toward musicians who got caught faking it in heavily edited videos. People are craving authenticity. Authenticity isn’t a trend. It’s about to become the whole market. And that’s going to have a huge, positive impact on the live music scene.
My daughter is a realtor and manages a large team of agents. One of her realtors used AI to draft contracts instead of asking someone with more experience — and it nearly led to a lawsuit. AI doesn’t know everything. It only knows what’s on the internet at the moment of the search. You can’t beat real knowledge gained through experience and schooling.
So What Do I Mean About Optimizing You?
AI can organize the data, but it can’t do the inner work. It can tell you what patterns exist in your spending, sleep, or self-talk — it can’t tell you why you believe what you believe about money, worth, or love. That’s where energy work, tarot (“prescription not prediction”), and human mentorship come in — the meaning-making AI can’t do. The Bottom Line

AI is a tool, not a teacher. It can help you write faster, organize better, and search smarter. But it can’t sit across from you and help you unpack why you self-sabotage at the finish line. It can’t feel the shift in your energy when a belief finally breaks loose. It can’t hold space. AI won’t ever provide the feeling of being in nature with your loved ones.
That’s still human work. That’s still my work.
So use the tools. Just don’t outsource your growth to them.
AI is neither good nor evil. It’s a tool. It’s a technology for us to use.
